Hello :)
My name is Kaella-Marie Earle and I'm a chemical engineering and ecology student, big-time ecomodernist, and I love to travel.
I'd like to say "I haven't been everywhere, but its on my list". I've been telling myself this for a long time. So far, this is the 4th different country that I have traveled to, and the travel bug has just stuck. I try to go somewhere at least once a year. This year, Scotland here I come!
If you're someone that knows me, you'll know that I love to learn. There's so much out there to see! And what better way to immerse yourself in learning than to travel? Even if it isn't far, you will always open up your mind to an entirely new world of living when you go somewhere. Taking risks like this will always give you something, whether its a success or a good chance to learn. Taking risks develops your ingenuity and confidence, and in my opinion, those two go hand-in-hand.
One thing I'd like to learn about in particular is just general ways of life around the world. Learning about different ways of living around the world will help myself and others on how to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle, among a plethora of other things.
I'm still a total rookie at living green, so bear with me. We can learn together. You know, if the world learned together a little more, things would be pretty different.
The other beautiful thing about travel is that it makes you appreciate home in a new way. I love my home. I live in Sudbury, Ontario, and I will likely always live there (if I have my way).
Anyway, thank you for checking out the blog! I will write every day or every few days depending on how tired I am, and I will also update with pictures, stories and whether or not I learned anything about Scotland's ways of living a green lifestyle. Sprinkled with a little bit of touristy stuff, of course. Please feel free to comment or send me an e-mail (kaellamarieearle@gmail.com) while I'm blazing my trails...I hop on a plane later today!
Cheers,
KM
